Le gustan esas gafas. Son grandes, muy cóncavas. Tan oscuras que apenas puede ver. Pero ocultan la hinchazón de sus párpados y lo negro de las ojeras. Al ponérselas, sabe que nadie puede ver sus ojos enrojecidos. Incluso disimulan las huellas del maquillaje que olvidó limpiar. Por eso las lleva. En realidad le disgustan. Con ellas parece un ridículo insecto. Se detiene un momento. Está pensando. Quizás lleve más de dos semanas poniéndose esas gafas cada mañana. Mira el reloj. Las doce y cuarto. Vuelve a mirarlo. Siguen siendo las doce y cuarto. Además es miércoles. ¿Por qué no ha ido hoy a trabajar? No recuerda haber ido desde el viernes. Suspira. Se sienta. Algo va mal. Algo tiene que cambiar.
